Batch: Over 200 Recipes, Tips and Techniques for a Well Preserved Kitchen
Batch: Over 200 Recipes, Tips and Techniques for a Well Preserved Kitchen written by Joel MacCharles and Dana Harrison of the Well Preserved website, Batch, is a comprehensive guide to expand your knowledge of preserving methods and a resource for all levels of preserving skills. Gardineria is one of my favourite recipes. I brought a jar to a barbeque and people asked me for the recipe!

The Canning Kitchen: 101 Simple Small Batch Recipes
The Canning Kitchen: 101 Simple Small Batch Recipes by Amy Bronee of The Family Bites blog, is the first canning book I reviewed. It helped me to expand my knowledge that was limited to canning tomatoes and pears.
One of my favourite recipes in this canning book is Zucchini Sweet Relish. My family likes it on grilled Italian sausages served in a bun. I can`t seem to make enough of it.

Preservation Society Home Preserves: 100 Modern Recipes
I discovered the Fig Jam with Secrets recipe in the Preservation Society Home Preserves: 100 Modern Recipes by Camilla Wynne, and it has been my favourite jam since. Listing creative recipes such as Banana Foster Jam and Bitters Orange Marmalade, this cookbook elevates the flavours of jams and preserves.

The Preservatory: Seasonally Inspired Recipes for Creating and Cooking with Artisanal Preserves is written by Lee Murphy, proprietor of Vista D’Oro Farms & Winery and The Preservatory in BC’s Fraser Valley.
