Fennel and Blood Orange Salad
The recipe I am submitting to the BloggerAid Cookbook Project is Fennel and Blood Orange Salad. While we were growing up, I remember my mother telling us about these beautiful red oranges she used to eat in Sicily. At that time the blood oranges were not available at our markets here in Quebec, but now they are either imported from Italy or the USA. I have tasted both and like the taste of the blood oranges imported from Italy better – they are sweet but yet you can taste a bit of tartness.
This salad is one of my favoruites. I love the taste of fennel combined with the taste of the blood oranges. One of the rules of submitting a recipe to the BloggerAid Cookbook Project is that the recipe cannot be listed anywhere on the Web so I cannot include it in this post.

This salad looks great. I have a thing for blood oranges and even though you did not post the recipe I will be trying to recreate this in some way.
